"An Evening of Dance Performances"

NEW YORK April 6, 2004--On April 15, 2004, at 8pm the highly anticipated dance performance “Let It Go,” as presented by the NowellaNoelle Dance Company (NNDC), in collaboration with Project 7, opens at The WILLIAMSBURG ARTS NEXUS Theater (205 North 7th Street - Brooklyn, NY).

“Let It Go” is the artistic expression of the ups and downs that comes along with relationships. A primarily modern dance piece, “Let It Go” shows the capabilities of NNDC as a vibrant and innovative dance group. Co-founders of the NowellaNoelle Dance Company (NNDC), Nowella Yerby and Noelle Finamore created Hip’mo-dek, the fusion of Hip Hop and Modern dance techniques. Hip’mo-dek challenges and provokes the minds into a realm of thought-provoking purpose and emotion, thus producing a fresh artistic perspective that challenges the traditional limitations place upon institutional dance. With dancers chosen for their personalities and ardent passion for dance, as well as their ability, NNDC has set a precedent for quality dance performances by infusing creativity with traditionalism to redefine the essence of artistic expression.

NNDC can be seen performing “Let It Go” from April 15th through April 18th, Thursday through Sunday at the WILLIAMSBURG ARTS NEXUS Theater located at 205 North 7th Street, Brooklyn, NY. Show times for April 15th, 16th, and 17th begin at 8pm sharp; April 18th begins at 7pm sharp.
