Dancer Injury Prevention Lecture-Demonstation during National Dance Week




April 17, 2004--The Harkness Center for Dance Injuries is presenting a lecture-demonstration focusing on the injury tendencies of dancers during National Dance Week.

Lecture Description
This lecture-demonstration will focus on the injury tendencies of dancers. Typical injury risk factors will be described and illustrated and strategies for injury prevention will be introduced. The session will end with a question and answer period.

This event is part of the National Dance Week 2004 observance, organized by R.O.O.T.S. Institute Director Cassandra Meroe Wimbs. It is taking place on April 30, 2004 from 2-4pm. The location is
