The colorful, exotic worlds of Fantasy Bellydance, Techno-Trance, Fire Dance, Hip-Hop, Go-Go dance and Martial Arts come together seamlessly in this knock-out show, guaranteed to excite, delight and down right amaze the audience that night! Entering it’s second year, Leela’s Arabia Exotica shows pack houses all over the Southland, receiving critical and artistic recognition from both the dance & media communities. Dramatically costumed in fantastic techno/ethnic fusion, covered with sequins, beads, rhinestones, feathers and mirrors, accompanied by an array of music including Rock, Pop, Arabic, Classical, Medieval Polyphony,Trip Hop and more, over 40 performers weave the dances inspired by their Wild Hearts into a shimmering, glittering feast for the senses!

Anchored by the performances of award-winning Bellydance Troupe Leela with SaloméJihad, the show offers opportunities for many of our local dance stars to stretch out into the more alternative sides of their creative expression; see Mésmera, international star and reigning Bellydance Queen, along with Anahata, Farhana, Desert Sin, Yaleil! and The Mutaytor, an ingenious, outrageous Performance Drum and Dance ensemble born at Burning Man.
