Prominent Dance Instructor Launches DeSarge Danceworld, Introduces Argentine Tango to Naperville

Naperville, IL February 5, 2004--Prominent Naperville Dance Instructor Edward “Sarge” Sargent announces his new independent venture, DeSarge Danceworld, with special introductory promotions offered during February. A seasoned 27-year instructor and competitive dancer, Sarge has trained students in various forms of dance from beginner to advanced levels, including competition level.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Sarge brings the spirit of Argentina to downtown Naperville on Tuesday nights with authentic Argentine Tango club dance instruction and practice at Tango Restaurant, 5 W. Jackson St. The month-long series features lessons for beginner and intermediate levels followed by a free dance practica (practice dance). Sarge is the exclusive provider of ongoing genuine Argentine Tango instruction in the western suburbs. The new dance series, held Tuesdays in February at 8-10:30 PM at Tango Restaurant, marks the first and only venue in the western suburbs to offer instruction and dance in authentic Argentinean club style. As in Argentine cafes, the passion of impromptu Argentine tango dancing will take place amidst the tables. Partners are not necessary for the class. Food and drink is available.

A special Valentine promotion for discounted private and group lessons for all types of dance is also available for anyone purchasing the offer through Valentine’s Day. This ideal Valentine gift features an hour of private dance instruction or four group dance lessons at a special rate of $30. Private lessons may be taken as a single or couple. Lessons purchased before February 14th may be taken after Valentine’s Day.

Sarge owned his own dance studio in Naperville for 10 years before selling the business, which allowed him to focus exclusively on teaching. His qualifications include South African Rock & Roll Champion; certifications in American Style and International Style Bronze, Silver, and Gold Dance; and international certification in Ballroom and Latin Dance. In January he resigned as dance director from a local studio and established DeSarge Danceworld. As an independent instructor, he now teaches private and group lessons in every style from Latin and Ballroom to Swing and Argentine Tango at DuPage Dance Center in Naperville and various other locations.

Registration is open for the dance series and other group classes. For more information about Argentine Tango classes, the Valentine promotion, and other dance instruction by Sarge, phone (630) 309-9256.
